The Puerto Rico Blockchain Trade Association and the Global DCA Join Forces to Maximize Opportunities for all Participants

San Juan, PR, August 9, 2022--- In an effort to continue educating about Web 3, Blockchain Technology and Crypto currencies, the Puerto Rico Blockchain Trade Association (PRBTA), is announcing a collaborative agreement with the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association (Global DCA) to jointly engage in dialogue, develop joint activities and seek to coordinate and harmonize policy responses.

“Both associations will create a conversation on key issues relevant to the subject of blockchain, cryptoassets, cryptotrading, decentralized finance, and other related subjects of interest in the crypto scene,” stated Keiko Yoshino, Executive Director for the Puerto Rico Blockchain Trade Association. “Through this joint effort we want to continue building on that progress with local blockchain legislation and free public education ,” she added.

As part of this effort the associations will engage in joint activities including conferences, webinars, speaker opportunities, research, and/or policy roundtable discussions where they can further advance their goals in the cryptosector. Furthermore, where there is a significant policy issue of relevance either internationally, regionally or nationally, the Global DCA will seek to engage with Puerto Rico Blockchain Trade Association and harmonize its response accordingly. 

Gabriella Kusz, Chief Executive Officer of Global DCA commented on being optimist and most satisfied with this alliance. “Global DCA advocates for a regulatory environment that facilitates innovation and protects consumers, stakeholders, and the broader public interest world-wide. Integral to the Global DCA’s global approach to engagement with stakeholders is the respect and leadership by national jurisdictional SROs and trade associations to the support provided by the Global DCA. This alliance with  PRBTA can help in supporting evolution of digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and the underlying blockchain technology within a regulatory framework designed to build public trust, foster market integrity and maximize economic opportunity for all participants”, stated Kusz.
