Today, Right of Reply (RoR) the fast-growing technology company with its blockchain-powered online reputation management platform, announces the launch of its two brand new products Reply from the Stars, a platform to allow celebrities to communicate with their fan base privately; and RoR Politics, an app developed to promote healthy political discourse online.
Reply from the Stars is a unique digital platform designed to intermediate communication between celebrities and their fan base without the interference of media and external actors via a direct, trustful platform. The app aims to prevent defamation and libelous material from tabloid press that attack celebrities' reputation as well as protecting their privacy and exposure to personal lives.
RoR Politics, a digital platform designed to improve political discussions by integrating messages from opposing political figures and the public into one single platform. Based on Right of Reply's unique blockchain technology, RoR Politics allows replies to be embedded in the same place as the original content, promoting open, democratic debate through five patented tools:
1. About Me, About You: Automated updates on any web content – article, image, video, blog, forum – which mentions or quotes a particular politician, candidate or party in any manner; with new content specifically highlighted.
2. Speak Truth: Allows response to content by writing a reply and offering evidence of facts, helping the public to draw accurate conclusions by offering evidence and contextualisation.
3. Offer Debate: Offers the candidate cited and/or their opponent the opportunity to respond to specific content by writing a reply.
4. Response Available: Signals to voters and the general public on other search engines that the candidate's response to content is available.
5. Public Talk: Creates one single certified online repository about a candidate cited and/or their opponent, including all content. Allows comparison between rival platforms and voting history.
The RoR Politics app will be launched in Q1 2019, with the pilot project set to start in the coming weeks with a prominent political party in Italy ahead of the EU elections.
